Radiology Evaluation & Consultation
From A to X and back again

With the increased variety of medical imaging technologies in the marketplace, it is critical to acquire professional evaluation of existing technologies with respect to the needs of the client organization.  The stages in the technology evaluation process are as follows:

1. Appraisal of the client’s needs by an advisory board of industry professionals, including X-ray technicians, radiologists, hospital acquisition managers and hospital directors

2. Preparatory inspection of the proposed site

3. Identification and comparison of the potential technologies through analysis of the manufacturer’s specifications and reviews from current uses of similar equipment

4. Preliminary presentation of findings to the professional advisory board (see stage 1 above)

5. Presentation of the assessment findings to the client

6. Optional provision of exact costs following the presentation of the findings

7. Optional supervision and inspection during installation, as per the client’s requirements, based on the Ministry of Health guidelines
